I am a Dog Walker and I specialize in French bulldogs and pugs. When the temperatures get up, they overheat very easily. I have bought about 15 of these ests for all the dogs that I walk. They function fantastically in the heat and it is very easy to recharge them just with water. No need to put them in the refrigerator or put freezer inserts. These are lightweight and they do the job. I wouldn’t think of using any other cooling vest
I love these raincoats. It is so hard to find anything to fit my dogs. These seem to run big which is good for my dogs. They are small, but rounder than they should be. The Velcro is genius. And they are long enough to cover their backs. My dogs hide under the table when I get coats out (let’s just say I’ve tried a lot) but these keep them dry and since they don’t like rain that’s good. The colors are beautiful and I love that they are reversible. I have two dogs. I got small for both and they fit perfectly.
First, I got 2-one for each of my dogs. They are chihuahua mixes, and one is a long chihuahua. The coats are good quality and seem to be well made. They are soft inside and feel like they will keep my dogs very warm. Hopefully it warms up but they should be great next winter. The coats are cute (and match my dogs’ collars perfectly). My dog’s measurements put them in the 2XL for size and I ordered them both 2XL. It seems a bit big, but definitely covers their backside. I like that they are roomier since it gives me the option of layering.
*the 2XL girl is 18-22 inches and they are 18.25 and 27.5 so I knew it would be on the bigger side.
I’ve tried on enough coats that don’t fit that I’ll stick with the ability to layer and not trade it in for something that probably won’t fit. Once you figure out how to put it on it’s easy (if your dog cooperates). I quickly learned to buckle it before zipping to hold it so my dog couldn’t step out. The straps that hold the D rings on are all adjustable. I think my dogs will get used to these pretty soon after using them a lot (again hopefully the weather warms up so they will be for next winter). My smaller dog is great at holding one foot up and getting out of coats and once I got it zipped she was in.
First, I love the " 80s hipster" style of this coat. It is super easy to put on and my dog loves it! It keeps him cozy during his hikes. It has both function and style.
The coat I originally received had a defect in the velcro and GF pet was amazing! THey replaced it ASAP. The service was prompt and personalized. I would buy with them again!
